The Shure "700 MHz Wireless trade-in
Program", is a great way to create Shure wireless microphone and monitor
systems sales for your dealership.
TV channels 52-69, the
frequency range that corresponds to 698 to 806 MHz, have been auctioned
off by the FCC to several large wireless telecommunications companies as
well as numerous regional providers, with the exception of channels 63,
64, 68, and 69, which have been re-allocated for public safety. In the
future it will become difficult, if not impossible, to operate your
wireless microphones in this range.
Going forward, the legal
operating ranges for wireless microphones and personal monitor systems
are 174-216MHz and 470-698MHz.
Your existing customer can
purchases a correct Shure system from you, and then get "trade in" value
for their old 700MHZ system directly from Shure.
Shure will also
take any manufacturers 700 MHZ wireless product in on trade towards a
Shure wireless purchase.
